Opinion:

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a story about an Autistic boy named Christopher that lives with his father, and wants to discover the mystery behind the sudden death of his neighbor's dog. As an autistic boy, Christopher has many special characteristics that make his family and him to have a very different relationship from other typical lifestyles. He attends to a special school, hates specific colors, cant stand crowded places, and doesn't show his affection as a son by hugging or kissing. In addition, he shows no empathy, and science. Christopher has a low interest in social interaction and is better off alone.. As the books advances, his curiosity towards the initial unsolved problem helps him realize things that were hidden from him, and these truths brings him to start and adventure that he never anticipated he would ever had to counter.

Evidence:

• Christopher has found his neighbor's dog lying dead in her yard. It is clear to him that someone has purposefully killed the dog and he is curious as to who killed him and why.
• I am going to prove that I'm not stupid. Next month I'm going to take my A level in math and I'm going to get an A grade.
